In an analysis circuling on the internet, Alexandre Schwarstman examines the fiscal accounts of the São Paulo, the main Brazillian State. There are many interesting figures, including to compare the recente evolution between this state versus federal government expenditures. The (new) note concludes: “… São Paulo mas managed to keep its current spending sbudued, while investment accounts for virtually all of the increase in primary expenditures”.
