Revenue and spending data for subnational governments in Brazil, published by Centro de Estudo da Metrópole. In Brazil, the main source of information concerning governmental financial data is provided by the National Treasury Secretary, which is an office subordinated to the Federal Ministry of Finance. In this report, the variables and indicators of subnational finance compiled in CEM´s database are presented. The original source of information is FINBRA database, which presents municipal data from 1989 to 2008 and since 1986 for states. (PDF attached)
