Inequality in China (Herd)

OECD published A Pause in the Growth of Inequality in China? by Richard Herd. Inequality is relatively high in China by international standards, despite signs that it has lessened recently across provinces and nationwide for rural households. This points to the success of a number of policies, notably those related to the easing of restrictions on movements of people introduced in 2003 and the progressive introduction of the minimum subsistence allowance in rural areas. ver: http://www.olis.oecd.org/olis/2010doc.nsf/LinkTo/NT00000AFE/$FILE/JT03277813.PDF
